How much time is required to remove and replace a clock movement?
- This is dependent upon several factors, but generally, movement replacement can be accomplished in one to two hours.
What tools will I need?
- Some common tools are needed for dismantling and reassembling your clock movement. You will need a large and small blade Phillips screwdriver, a thin-nose pliers, nut drivers or ΒΌ” sockets, Allen wrenches and a clock oil kit.
Will I be able to reuse my existing hands and pendulum following movement replacement?
- In almost all cases, the answer is yes! However, we will discuss your hands, pendulum and other existing clock parts prior to installation. If you need replacements, Dakota Clock Works will help you find them!
