Mason and Sullivan codes begin with "3" and end in "X". 
Mason and Sullivan is no longer in business. While in operation, they were recognized as one of the largest producers of clock cases. They purchased their movements from other manufacturers, such as Hermle and Kieninger. Because they bought movements in such high volume, they individual manufacturers allowed "Mason and Sullivan" to be stamped on the back plate; giving the impression that the movement itself was made by them.
