Repair Warranty

Dakota Clock Repair warranties the workmanship used during the repair of your clock will meet current Horological practices in common use for the age and type of clock repaired. Dakota Clock Repair warranties only our workmanship for a period of one year; any parts we install are not warranted.  Dakota Clock Repair does not warranty that another condition will not develop making your clock inoperative.  If another condition develops that is not covered by the above statement, it is the responsibility of the owner of the clock to pay any additional costs necessary to make the clock operate to the satisfaction of the clock owner.

To qualify for a warranty claim the clock must be defective. Dakota Clock Repair will be the sole source of the decision on whether a condition noted by the clock owner constitutes a defective condition. Dakota Clock Repair defines defective as a condition where that particular clock is not operating in a manner similar to other clocks of like design and age. Before any clock will be considered for warranty repair it must be setup, adjusted and operated in accordance with the instructions provided by Dakota Clock Repair. If the clock owner refuses to setup, adjust and operate the clock in accordance with the instructions provided by Dakota Clock Repair any claim for warranty coverage is void.

It is the responsibility of the clock owner to provide proof of the type of service and the date the service was accomplished before any consideration for warranty coverage will be provided. It is the responsibility of the owner of the clock to present the clock to Dakota Clock Repair at 306 South Main Street, Glen Ullin, North Dakota for any warrantee service. Dakota Clock Repair is not responsible for costs incurred in transporting the clock to Dakota Clock Repair for warranty coverage, or for returning the clock to the owner. If Dakota Clock Repair did repair work in the customer’s home (house call) all of the provisions above apply.

Dakota Clock Repair reserves the right to change and/or update information regarding prices, shipping, deliveries, returns, etc. at any time. Although we try our best to avoid errors in information and/or pricing, we reserve the right to correct errors and cannot honor pricing errors that may be listed on our Web site. By using this Web site, you agree to be bound by any such revisions and further agree to these terms of use. The right to download and store pages and/or pictures from this Web site is granted to users for their personal use only. Any other reproduction, by any means, without the express written permission of Dakota Clock Repair is strictly prohibited.

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with state laws of North Dakota without giving effect to any principles or conflicts of law. If any provision of this warranty shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this warranty and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
